Welcome. You have reached the home of the single most daring venture into LAN parties Northern Ohio has yet seen. Run by its members, the NCOLPA is a group of highly dedicated gamers who feel that merely killing each other time and time again is far more enjoyable when you're in the same room as your victim; even dying is better when you can look directly at your killer and tell him "there ain't no way I'm lettin' that happen again!"
NCOLPA parties are some of the most enjoyable in the area, but also the easiest to participate in. Bring a computer, plug it in, and you're set. We provide power outlets, tables and chairs, and network cables are available upon request. Parties typically run around 12 hours, some longer, some shorter. Food is provided throughout the night, whether its pizza at the start, snacks all the way through, or even, on occasion, donuts and juice at the end.
You don't have to be a hardcore gamer to come to an NCOLPA party; people of all skill levels are invited to attend. You might even learn a thing or two while you're there; many of our members are experts are their favorite games, and are more than happy to teach you how to play, even if only to have one more person to slaughter. But don't worry about that: your day will come, and there are never sore winners (and we hope there aren't ever sore losers).
Our parties are almost always well sponsored, with past sponsors including nVidia, Alienware, ATI, Bawls, zBoard, eDimensional, Crucial Technology, ABIT Technology, SteelSeries, Vortex Technology Network and GearGrip. Our sponsors provide us with door prizes, as well as tournament prizes. There could even be food or drink sponsorships.
If this has gotten your attention (or at least not lost it yet), then poke around our site to find out when and where our next LAN party is. RSVP, show up, and game on!
