The following are the rules and guidelines of any NCOLPA event. These rules are implied to keep our events a fun and orderly event to game at. Read the below rules and guidelines so that you know what and what not to do. Thank you for your corporation.

• Your user ID badge must be worn at all times. This is so you can prove you payed and have aseat. If your badge is lost, a replacement one can be purchased at any staff area.

• If it is not yours, don’t touch it! We can’t afford to have a fight over property that is not ours.

• Cheating of any kind, in any game, WILL NOT be tolerted! The use of any type of software, bot or mod that enables advantages that other gamers do not have is prohibited.

• Your property is your responsibility. If any item(s) of yours are stolen or misplaced at the event, NCOLPA will not be held responsible. We always recommend tagging your name on your property.

• Follow suggestions and orders from staff members. They are there to help, so please listen to what they have to say.

• No alcoholic beverages shall be consumed or distributed at any NCOLPA event. If you are found to be guilty of this offense, you will be asked to leave with no refund.

• The viewing or distribution of Adult Material is prohibited at any NCOLPA event. No "Pr0n" please!

• Smoking is prohibited except for designated areas. Butts should be placed in the ashtray, not the lawn.

• Any repairs done to your system should be done in the repair area. If you need help, ask a staff member for help.

• NCOLPA does not condone or promote the distribution, duplication, or any other method of sharing copywritten software. Doing so is done at your own risk, and NCOLPA cannot be held responsible for any legal consequences of your actions.

• Drug use is prohibited!

• Use only your assigned plug for you system and monitor. No daisy chained power strips. No UPS’s, HUBs, Switches or Routers shall be used. Limit power use to a minimum.

• No speakers of any kind. Please use headphones.

• Hacking/Cracking is prohibited. Do not cause harmful entry or data loss to other gamers. If you are found guilty of this, you will be asked to leave with no refund.

• Outside food and drink is prohibited. Please put your trash in its place. Keep your gaming area clean. Selling food or drink is prohibited unless authorized by a member of NCOLPA staff.

• Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Remember that this is a gaming event, not a boxing match. Please treat others with the same respect that you would expect them to treat you.

• There are no refunds offered with NCOLPA unless there is a valid cause. Refund issues shall be handled with a member of the NCOLPA Administration.

• File Sharing shall be disabled during any tournament game. We need to keep our network fast for accurate results.

• It is advised that all gamers have Antivirus software installed. If you need a free virus scanner, consult a member of NCOLPA staff.

• If you have a server that you would like to run at our event, consult a NCOLPA staff member and the server will be placed in the Server Zone.

• When a member of NCOLPA staff is making an announcement, please make it an effort to do your best to listen.

• Please keep the restrooms clean! We don’t need to be left without a bathroom. Can you imagine not having a bathroom after 30 cans of Dew?

• Please stay out of marked areas. Example: “Staff only!” Your first offense will be a warning. After that you will be asked to leave with no refund.

• Please try to keep swearing to low level. We don’t want do have a bad reputation from vistors or parents and children. Trust me, I know it's hard when you get fragged, but please, try.

• If you get a prize item, please get your picture taken afterwards. We need to send the pictures to sponsors so we can keep them as one.

• Comments or suggestions shall be handled on the website. (ncolpa.com)

• Not all atendees will win a prize. Prizes will be handed out, but not all people will get one. The more your involved, the better chance you have.
